Wrexham Care Centre aims to provide our guests with a friendly, secure, relaxed, and homely environment in which their care, well being and comfort are of prime importance.
PRIVACY: The right for our guests to be left alone and undisturbed whenever they wish as long as the environment is safe to do so. The right to meet family, friends or visitors without being overlooked or overheard. Staff will always show regard for privacy of individuals.
DIGNITY: The understanding to treat all our guests with respect and respecting our guests rights to privacy and confidentiality.
INDEPENDENCE: Allowing our guests to make their own decisions and think and act for themselves, ensuring that a reasonable balance is kept between independence and risk taking.
CHOICE: Giving our guests the opportunity to select for themselves from a range of alternative options in everyday life activities.
RIGHTS: Keeping all basic human rights available to our guests without discrimination on the grounds of age, gender, race, language, religion or other opinion.
FULFILMENT: Enabling our guests to realise their own aims and helping them to achieve these goals in all aspects of daily living. Understanding and meeting our guests spiritual and emotional needs as far as possible. Creating a lifestyle that is flexible and can adapt and develop as needs or wishes change.
All Care Staff within the Home will be appropriately trained to deliver the highest standards of care. A continuous staff-training programme is implemented to ensure that these high standards are maintained in line with the latest developments in Care Practices as may be laid down in appropriate Legislation, Regulations and the Care Standards Inspectorate for Wales.
